Tyler is a boy in Rowley Jefferson's karate class who appears in The Last Straw and the online book. He has a sleepover party in which he invites all his friends including Rowley.
Greg tags along to his sleepover due to Holly Hills, though he instantly regrets it when he realizes Tyler and the other kids are all below the age of seven. They spend the night playing little kid games like Blind Man's Bluff, with Greg excusing himself upstairs when someone suggests that they play "Who Licked Me?"
The other kids come upstairs later and start pillow fighting until Tyler's father tells them to go to sleep. They continue to talk amongst themselves afterwards, attempting the "hand in a bowl of warm water" trick on Greg at one point, causing him to leave and spend the rest of the night in the basement.
