The Throw Your Voice Ventriloquism Kit was one of the scams in Greg Heffley's comic book ads in The Last Straw and the online book.
When Greg receives the kit, Greg tries to throw off Bryce Anderson while he converses with Holly Hills in an attempt to make Bryce call himself an idiot to make Holly lose interest in him.[1] [2] This didn't work and was one of the reasons why Greg is broke.
