THERE'S MONKEYS IN THE WALLS! is a quote Gary Heffley (Grandpa Heffley in the online book) said in The Third Wheel.

Gary has said it in Manny's room, causing Manny to move his bed in the middle of the room, away from the walls and Gary to move to the living room.

In the online book, Grandpa shouts it with Greg Heffley in his room. Greg gets so startled that he hides in the bathroom for the rest of the night.[1]
