Clark Joseph Kent ("né" Kal-El), best known by his superhero name Superman, is a fictional superhero who was created by real-life American comic book writer Jerry Siegel and Canadian-American aritst Joe Shuster. He works as a reporter for the Daily Planet so he can be excused to be present at crime scenes, and not needing to strictly account for his whereabouts as long as he makes his publication deadlines. He is first seen in the comics and since then has been very influential.

He was mentioned in Diary of a Wimpy Kid and first appears in Rowley Jefferson's Awesome Friendly Adventure.
