This unnamed student is presumably the friend of Shelly who makes a one-off appearance in both Diary of a Wimpy Kid and the online book.
In both versions, she asks Greg Heffley to pass a note to Shelly in 5th grade. Oblivious to Greg however, the note read out "Greg is a dork" in the book and "Greg is a goober" in the online book which is why he now resists sitting besides a bunch of girls.[1] [2]
