Scott Snella (known as Scott Smedley in the online book) is a family member of the Snellas that appeared in The Last Straw. He formerly lived up the street from Greg Heffley.
During Scott's half-birthday party, a man named Mr. Odom fell into a baby pool while walking backward. The incident was recorded by Mr. Snella, who sent it to a TV show called "America's Funniest Families".[1]
