This unnamed woman is one of the lifeguards that work in the Ruttyneck Island beaches. According to Greg Heffley, the lifeguards did not pay attention to any danger and would not even notice if a rogue wave came in.
When Greg got decked by a big wave, he got a big pile of sand in the back of his bathing suit and had to come to the sea to flush it out. Greg had to fight against the fish underwater but that made him look like he was peeing in the ocean, and this lifeguard noticed. She blew her whistle but Greg did not come to shore, so she pulled Greg to shore with a lifebuoy.
It is possible that this woman is a teenager, as Frank Heffley formerly worked as a lifeguard on Ruttyneck Island when he was a teenager.
