Rowley Jefferson's Awesome Friendly Spooky Stories 2 is the upcoming fourth installment in the Awesome Friendly Kid series and the direct sequel to Rowley Jefferson's Awesome Friendly Spooky Stories, and will release on August 11, 2026.
It was announced on September 11, 2025, and later confirmed that he was working on the fourth Awesome Friendly Kid book on October 28, 2025.[1] The cover was officially revealed on October 31st, 2025 - to coincide with the Halloween theme- although it leaked the day before.

- This is also the first and only Wimpy Kid book to be a direct sequel to another.
- A fourth "Awesome Friendly" book was in development until December 2022 at least, before it got shelved.[2]
