Rowan's mother is the mom of Rowan in Rowley Jefferson's Awesome Friendly Spooky Stories. She is based off of Rowley's mom.
When Rowan starts growing hair, she and her husband explained to him that they are a family of werewolves. This makes Rowan start crying as he just wanted to be a regular kid and have a normal life, but Rowan's mom says they could live a normal life if they hid who they really were from the rest of the world. Rowan doesn't feel right hiding who he really was, so he didn't, and nobody dared to mess with him. This inspires Rowan's mom and her husband to do the same.[1]
