This man is a middle-aged member of the Plainview Heights country club. He appears in the Dog Days film adaptation, where he is played by Doug Abrahams.

The man "saves" Rodrick Heffley from "drowning", unaware that it was staged to get Heather Hills' attention. Rodrick Heffley is disgusted and dismayed when the man gives him CPR, despite the obvious signs of life that Rodrick was showing.[1]
