This unidentified heavy-metal magazine is a magazine that is owned by Rodrick Heffley which had a picture of a girl in a bikini lying against the hood of a car, which Manny stole in the first book. In the first film, it is a motorcycling magazine titled “Moto Mama's” and features a girl siting on the seat of a motorcycle, with its slogan being "the world's sexiest motorcycle magazine".

History[]

Diary of a Wimpy Kid[]

Manny finds the magazine, and, unaware of its suggestive material, brings it to his daycare for show and tell. Manny's teacher calls Susan over the inappropriate image. Consequently, Rodrick is punished by Susan, who forces him to answer four questions over why he owned the magazine and apologize to women.[1]

Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010 film)[]

The magazine appears while Greg and Rowley search for Rodrick's yearbook. Eventually, Greg uses to magazine to get back at Rodrick for telling Susan about the upcoming mother-son dance at his middle school. In the living room, Greg plants the magazine in Rodrick's backpack along with a Tootsie Roll, and tells Manny not to touch the candy knowing he will do otherwise. When Susan arrives, she is stunned to see Manny reading the magazine, and realizes it belongs to Rodrick when Manny points to his backpack. Angered, Susan interrupts Rodrick's band practice in the garage to confront him over the magazine. She asks Rodrick the same questions[2] as the book, and grounds him for two weeks as punishment. When Rodrick protests, she replies with extending his punishment to four weeks and takes away his van keys, leaving Rodrick rooted to the spot in shock.
