Robert Banfield "Rob" Capron Jr. (born July 9, 1998) is an American actor who is best known for starring as Greg Heffley's best friend Rowley Jefferson in the first three installments of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film series. He was replaced by Owen Asztalos in the film adaptation of The Long Haul, as he had grown too old to play the role of Rowley.
Capron currently resides in Scituate, Rhode Island. He is an alum of Brown University, where studied theater, film studies and screenwriting. More recently, he has played roles in other films like Bride Wars, Hachi: A Dog's Tale, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour and The Three Stooges.

- According to The Wimpy Kid Movie Diary update, Robert had to get his hair cut to portray Curly in the Three Stooges. So during the set of Dog Days (film), a special wig was made for him.
