Pelican Pete is a former best friend of Preston Platypus in a book series in Wrecking Ball.[1] Greg was bothered by how Preston Platypus just forgot about him and how nothing was known about him afterwards, and wanted to write an angry letter to the author of the Preston Platypus books.
