Peachy Breeze Is Peachy Keen!
The brand's motto

Peachy Breeze is an ice cream brand that appeared in The Ugly Truth and the online book. The brand posts frequent commercials that originally starred an unidentified kid, who was later replaced by Scotty Douglas due to him undergoing puberty.

History[]

The Ugly Truth[]

Frank Heffley absolutely hates the Peachy Breeze Kid, even more so than Li'l Cutie, and whenever the commercial comes on, he messages Peachy Breeze and tells them that their commercial is annoying and how he'll never buy any of their products. But, every time he calls them, they send back coupons for free Peachy Breeze ice cream in the mail.[1]

Due to the previous Peachy Breeze Kid getting too old for his role, Greg Heffley's local TV-station started holding auditions to find the next Peachy Breeze Kid—Greg found a flier for the auditions and thought Susan wanted him to try out, but it later turned out that she actually intended for Manny to try out for the role, though Greg still ended up trying out.

Though Greg did his best, he was ultimately turned down. He tries to save his butt by informing the judges that the kid behind him was allergic to peaches.

In the end, Scotty Douglas was chosen as the new Peachy Breeze kid, despite him failing to pronounce the motto. (Though Greg says that if the Peachy Breeze people did their research and saw Scotty's older brother they might've had second thoughts.)

Online[]

Greg's happy that his audition went better than Manny's despite not winning. The main reason Manny didn't get the role was because he's allergic to something in the ice cream because his lips swelled up like balloons during the audition. Before the audition, Greg also mentions how Frank would probably throw him out of the house if he got the part (saying that Frank hates Peachy Breeze more than anything on the planet) but still tries to audition to get rich and to change his dad's decision to send him to military academy.
