This unnamed man is the night janitor at Larry Mack Middle School. He appears in The Meltdown.
Greg Heffley says he might be one of those cavemen that got frozen in ice and thawed out thousands of years later[1]. One night while he was cleaning during the time where everyone had to take off their wet socks, the smell was so overpowering that the janitor open up all the windows to air out the building. He forgot to close the windows after he was done and the heater shut down as a result[2].
