FunBrain is an educational browser game website for children and adults. It is the site where the online version of Diary of a Wimpy Kid was first published before being turned into a successful book series and movie franchise.
The website was founded in May 1992 and is owned by Poptropica Worldwide; a division of Family Education Network. The current publisher is Jess Brallier. According to the company, the site has 65,000 teachers registered, 35 million visits per month, and 60,000 page visits per day.
In addition to the online Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, it is home to educational math games, a fun arcade, and other online books, such as the Timmy Failure books.
