Tickles is a sock monkey owned by Greg, it was meant to be a monkey. It appeared in Hard Luck.
Greg lost him at the Ocean View Motel. It was 15 inches tall as written on a poster. However, Greg found him in his bedroom when they got back.
Susan told him it had followed him back as it loved him, Greg believed that, until years later he found that his mother had quintuples of Tickles in her closet. The one currently with Greg might not be the second one, as the original Tickles exploded in the washing machine after spilling chocolate milk on it.
