Quiet Cove (known as Gentle Cove in Dog Days (2012 film)) is a cove where the Jeffersons rented a log cabin in Dog Days. It is five miles from the beach and four hours from the Heffley's house.

History[]

Dog Days[]

When the Jeffersons arrives at their rental place, Greg Heffley immediately regrets coming along with them because it was located five miles from the beach and had no technological devices. The three Jeffersons read books until dinner, then played a game called "I Love You Because", followed by charades. Around 9:00 Mr. Jefferson orders Greg and Rowley Jefferson to bed. Greg did not like the sleeping situation, notably because there was only one bed for two to share. Frank Heffley had to pick up Greg two days early because he ripped Rowley's arm with a giant rubber band.[1]

Dog Days (2012 film)[]

The cove is renamed Gentle Cove in the film and was established in 1893. The Jeffersons rented a beach house on the cove for their stay during their trip on the beach because they decided to have more peace and quiet compared to the loud state of the boardwalk, which Greg was not pleased. The Jeffersons and Greg later played "I Love You Because." They then go to the boardwalk.
