Mr. Phillips is Larry Mack Junior Middle School's guidance counselor. He appears in The Last Straw.
During the Valentine's Dance, he and Nurse Powell walk onto the middle of the gym and started dancing in the hopes of getting the students joining them, though Greg Heffley suspects that it only guarantees that everyone will stay in their seats.
