Cherry Lozenges are cherry-flavored throat drops designed to provide soothing relief for sore throats. These drops are featured in The Meltdown.
According to Greg, they are the one positive aspect of falling sick, as he believes that girls particularly appreciate their pleasant scent, making the experience of being unwell somewhat worthwhile for him. However, this popularity with girls becomes a bit of a problem for Greg, as the boys also like them. When he brings three packs of Cherry Lozenges to school, he decides to store two of them in his locker. Unfortunately, his plans are foiled when Jake McGough sniffs out the lozenges, and before Greg realizes it, Speed Bump has already picked the lock.[1]
