The Amazing Andrew is a hypnotist who appeared as a special guest at Greg Heffley's school during a general assembly. He appears in The Third Wheel.
In the grand finale of his show, he tricked some students into thinking their arms were superglued together until he says the magic word, "Cucumber!" which caused their arms to get unglued.[1] Two kids thought his performance was staged so they tested it with Martin Ford trying to hypnotize them and unexpectedly their arms gets glued together and couldn't unlink even when Martin said the magic word. Their attempt forces a teacher to track down Andrew at a fast-food restaurant.[2]
