Erica Cerra (born October 31, 1979) is a Canadian actress and the voice actress for Susan Heffley in the animated films.
Personal Life[]
Cerra married Raffaele Flore in November 2010. Cerra gave birth to the couple's first child, a daughter in May 2012.
Professional Life[]
Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Cerra, of Italian descent, discovered her passion for acting at a young age. She made her initial appearance in the Canadian show KidZone and featured in several childhood commercials. Taking a hiatus from acting, she explained, "it was about wanting to be 14... I wanted to be 14 with no responsibility but I always wanted to act again."
From 2001 to 2006, Cerra secured guest roles on popular TV shows like Battlestar Galactica, The L Word, and Smallville. Her diverse roles spanned series such as The 4400, The Dead Zone, Reaper, Huff, Dead Like Me, Cold Squad, Special Unit 2, and The Collector. Notable cinematic ventures included Man About Town with Ben Affleck and Rebecca Romijn, as well as Blade: Trinity with Wesley Snipes.
In 2006, she starred in Michael Bublé's "Save the Last Dance for Me" music video. The same year marked her breakthrough role as Deputy Jo Lupo in Eureka, a Syfy series running from 2006 to 2012.
Post-Eureka, Cerra made guest appearances in Warehouse 13, Sanctuary, Supernatural, and Motive. She had a recurring role in the 2014 USA Network series Rush and featured in the 2015 CW series iZombie.
In the second season finale of The 100 on March 11, 2015, Cerra portrayed a mysterious A.I. named A.L.I.E. She assumed the main antagonist role during the third season and reprised it in an episode of the fourth season. Additionally, she played Becca, the creator of A.L.I.E., in a flashback storyline.
