Dr. Kratz (known as Dr. Stevens in the online book) is an unseen person who is mentioned in the book Rodrick Rules.

In a flashback, Greg Heffley says that when his mother found out that he hadn't been brushing his teeth every night when he was little, she faked a call to Dr. Kratz's office asking about dentures for little boys. The call is the reason Greg brushes his teeth four times a day.[1]
Online[]
The event is the same, except the time period of the flashback is specified to be when Greg was in second grade. Greg also brushes his teeth five times a day because of the call.[2]
