The Crossland haunted house a.k.a - The Labyrinth in the online book is a haunted house organized by Crossland High School for Halloween in October that's open to the public.
History[]
Diary of a Wimpy Kid[]
Rodrick Heffley has been telling Greg Heffley about the haunted house throughout the years. When he and Rowley Jefferson were finally old enough, he managed to convinced his mom, Susan Heffley, to take them. At first, Greg was really excited about going to it, but he and Rowley ultimately chickened out, especially once they got to a part called "Chainsaw Alley," where they were chased around by the Chainsaw Alley guy. The popularity of the haunted house inspired Greg and Rowley to attempt their own.[1]
Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010 film)[]
The haunted house is seen in an animated segment during the movie's credits.[2]
Online[]
The haunted house was ran by the Crossland Junior class and Greg had a more positive outlook of it than the book, saying it puts the haunted house that he and Rowley set to shame. The alley with the headless people jumpscare didn't exist. After the whole experience, Ann said she was going to write an angry letter to the Crossland principal.[3]
