Cheesy Bits is a book by Jeff Kinney released in July 2024 and sold as part of the Kohl's Cares program. It includes excerpts from 10 different books from the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, going in the order of The Meltdown, Hard Luck, The Ugly Truth, Big Shot, The Third Wheel, Rodrick Rules, Double Down, Cabin Fever, Old School, and No Brainer.
The book was released alongside a Greg Heffley plush, also a part of the Kohl's Cares program.

World Peace from Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Meltdown[]
In the original book, this is pages 9-18.
These pages cover about the International Showcase Greg was supposed to start working on November, but he forgot about it until the main day on January.
Greg tries to make-do with the time he has left by making up stuff about his country and using obvious facts about it until some parents that are actually from his country, Malta, find out about his project and get mad at him because of it.
Backup Friend from Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Hard Luck[]
In the original book, the excerpts are in pages 74-76, 78-81, 24, and 84-88 respectively.
The excerpt cover Greg trying too look for a new friend ever since he and Rowley had their big fight, until he settles on Fregley. He then calls him to his table and explains to him the rules. While in the middle of explaining the Five-Second Rule, Fregley went for Greg's potato chip without any warning.
The next day, Greg comes to Fregley's house to pick him up, but he had accidentally put his shirt upside down, making him stuck. Greg, believing that it was funny, showed it to the girls during lunch. A few moments later, Fregley showed them a trick where he chewed a piece of gum in his belly button. Then once Fregley tried to blow a bubble, the piece of gum was launched into one of the girl's trays. Word got around about Fregley's talent, and he became the most popular kid in no time flat, leaving Greg in the dust.
Rotten Egg from Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth[]
In the original book, the excerpts are in pages 98-107.
These pages cover Nurse Powell giving Greg Heffley his egg, along with Rowley Jefferson's egg, Rowley Junior. Greg then finds out Susan Heffley used his egg for breakfast, and mentions he may have to retake health class.
