Charlie Wright is an American actor and screenwriter who played the part of Rodrick Heffley in the film adaption of The Long Haul, replacing Devon Bostick who had played the role in the previous three films.
He started his acting career when he played Young Adam in The Millers. In 2020, he was in the Semi Finalist of the Final Draft Big Break Screenwriting Contest.[1] Not much is known about his personal life and he has never been active on his filming career. In 2024, Wright uploaded a video regarding #notmyrodrick. Many viewers say he looks more like Rodrick than he did before.[2]
Trivia
- The only reason why he kept his hair when playing Rodrick was because it was appropriate for a rock band.
- The fans weren't happy about the replacement of Devon Bostick, which caused the tag #NotMyRodrick to trend on Twitter. Wright himself made a reference to this on Instagram in 2022. He also uploaded a video about it in March 2024.
