Bryan Little is the author of a comic strip called Wacky Dawg, which once ran in the school newspaper. He is mentioned (but didn't appear) in Diary of a Wimpy Kid and the its film adaptation.

Bryan was apparently fired from his position as a cartoonist after he began to use his strip to handle his personal business. [1]
Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010 film)[]
In the movie, the reason for his departure was changed to him having mononucleosis, which meant that he was out for three months. In response, students bought cards to wish him well.
