Ben is one of Rodrick Heffley's friends and the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for Löded Diper. He appears in the film adaptations of Rodrick Rules and Dog Days, where he is played by Bryce Hodgson.

Rodrick Rules (2011 film)[]
Ben was invited to Rodrick's party where he said that Rachel Lewis and Melissa were not enjoying the party. After he told Rodrick to ask them to dance, Rowley Jefferson came along and danced with Rachel. When a conga line started, he squeezed in between her and Amy Ramirez.
Ben went to perform at the talent show playing along with Löded Diper. Unknown to him, the audience did not like the song the band was singing. And were only dancing because Susan Heffley was doing weird dancing at the side of the stage.
Dog Days (film)[]
Löded Diper was hired to play at Heather Hills' Sweet Sixteen, where Rodrick Heffley asked him if they could swap roles as Rodrick wanted to impress Heather.

- He might have a crush on Rachel Lewis as in the conga line at Rodrick's party, he says he will squeeze in next to Rachel.
- Multiple fan sources have stated that Ben's full name is Ben Segal. However, no official sources have corroborated this.
